The 2020 MAC Moomba Short Range Target Grand Prix Tournament

This year on Sunday the 8th of March 2020.

We’ve are proud to run this prestigious event and have the MAC Moomba Trophy once more on display!

Compete and shoot with some of the best in the country, and maybe take home a trophy!

Trophies awarded for Divisions (Perpetual & Individual)

Trophies awarded for the winning Club Team in Compound or Recurve. (Perpetual & Individual)
Team must consist of the following:
- All Archers are from same club
- Minimum 3, maximum 4 archers per team (Highest 3 scores used to calculate team total)
- Team must consist of either ALL Compound, or ALL Recurve...AND must include at least one Junior.

Team registration will occur on the day, so get together & come up with some great names & combinations of your club members.

 Trophies awarded for One arrow shoot-off at completion of tournament for both Compound & Recurve.

This tournament is a 120/1200 round of varying distances. The first 2 ranges are in the morning followed by a fabulous MAC lunch during the break, then 2 ranges in the afternoon. Trophy presentation follows with our "world famous" afternoon tea buffet!

Always extremely popular up until 2014, we expect the family friendly Moomba Target Tournament to live up to the meaning of Moomba, "Have fun".

An exceptional opportunity for new archers to shoot on the line, come along, enjoy the atmosphere of a real and highly competitive event.


This is a one day tournament, prizes allocated on the total score of the single day.


Valid AA Membership is required and should be presented at checkin. (if you have renewed and not received your new card, please inform us at checkin, so that your memebership can be verified.


Equipment inspection will be conducted


A combination of electronic scoring and paper scoring will be used for this event.


Please bring a smart phone with bookmarked & be familiar with it's use.


No Smoking or vaping withing club grounds fence line. (Please go to car park)


Entry to club grounds is now ONLY via the car park off Turner Rd. If you choose to park in the carpark on Chesterville Rd, please walk & follow walkway behind the timber fence to enter Highett Reserve & MAC grounds.


No High Draw Policy will be strictly enforced by Club & Judges.
