Classification Medals

Moorabbin Archery Club, Archery Victoria & Archery Australia recognise 5 different levels of archer classification based on ability as shown below.

The same classification levels are used for Target, Field, Clout, Indoor. Different medals are awarded for the separate divisions.

1st, 2nd, & 3rd Class Medals, may be ordered from Club Recorders as soon as the required qualifications are achieved.

MAC Club Recorder may order stocks of these badges from AV Badge Recorder.

Master Bowman and Grand Master Bowman Medals must be claimed through the AV Claims Recorder.

MB & GMB claim forms are to filled out by MAC Club Recorder and forwarded to the AV Claims Recorder along with qualifying score cards.

COVID 19  Update 29 September 2021

 

MAC is OPEN for the following Recreational Exercise

Committee and coaches have all been vaccinated and in the interests of safety to all and adhering to current guidelines and advice, we respectfully ask those members who are not vaccinated, or are not prepared to show proof of vaccination, to refrain from visiting the club until we receive further advice.  We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to providing more clarity as soon as we have it.  

Members who live within 15kms can access MAC for recreational exercise only, limited to 5 people at any time on the field.

On weekends, Full Members & Ozbow Members must book on Archers Diary for the 2-hour time slots, for all attending.

On weekdays, Full Members with a key may attend. The limit is 5 archers on the field & no booking required. We respectfully ask that if 5 archers are already in attendance, that you do not enter.

Oz Bow members can exercise between 10am-12noon on both Saturday & Sunday with coaches in attendance. The ratio will be one coach to two members if members are single vaxxed or one coach to five members if members are double vaxxed. (All coaches are double vaxxed).   

Temporary Members or Come n Try , unfortunately, with the current level of restrictions, we cannot open to you yet. Temp members may consider upgrading their membership to be able to shoot under current restrictions.

* Face masks must be worn at all times & all health guidelines followed

Clubhouse is closed, no access to toilets or equipment, so please bring your own gear
